‘The Whole World’s Shaking: The Complete Recordings 1963-66’ on CD is a 5-disc set including expanded editions of the albums ‘Rhythm And Blues At The Flamingo’, ‘Fame At Last’, ‘Sweet Things’ and ‘Sound Venture’ – each featuring a multitude of extra tracks. The fifth disc entitled ‘Bend A Little: Demos, Rarities, B-Sides And Outtakes’ is packed with rare treasures including 18 previously unreleased tracks from the period – all sourced following a worldwide search of tape libraries. Extensive liner notes come courtesy of author Chris Welch and the inner booklet features many previously unseen photos.

We’re also really excited that the box will also be available as a beautifully presented 4-LP vinyl set, bringing together the albums as they were originally released. Long-deleted, these exquisite artefacts come pressed onto high-quality 180g vinyl with inner booklet plus a free download card entitling the purchaser to all 106 tracks from the CD companion. So, you get the vinyl as nature intended plus a digital version with all the rarities, outtakes and B-sides!

Hugely admired and respected by his fellow musicians, Georgie has played live or recorded with some of music’s all-time legends including Van Morrison, Count Basie, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Elvis Costello, Bill Wyman, Jools Holland and many more.

To commemorate the release of ‘The Whole World’s Shaking: The Complete Recordings 1963-66’, Georgie will be touring with his ace band (featuring sons Tristan & James) in October 2015.
