unnamedFresh from supporting Anastacia at The O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on January 23rd, stunning European talent Giulia is giving her ever increasing fan-base a taster of things to come as her debut album, ‘Raze Me To The Ground’, is scheduled for release April 27th the same day as the stunning single ‘Turn Your Light On’.

Co-written with Don Mescal (Rascal Flatts, Clay Aiken, Backstreet Boys, Boyzone etc), with production by Don Mescal and Tom Nichols (Celine Dion, All Saints, Sugababes, Hall & Oates and Kylie Minogue to name but a few),  ‘Turn Your Light On’ is the track that’s set to catapult Giulia into the supernova limelight this spring.  Simplistically shrouded in a cavernous black backdrop, the video creates a spectacular light display of dancing colour and brightness – modern, creative and abundant with captivating visual appeal; ensuring that ‘Turn Your Light On’ blasts onto the scene in a flood of light.

Giulia’s debut album, ‘Raze Me To The Ground’ will be equally as dazzling. Written and produced in London in collaboration with, Tom Nichols, ‘Raze Me To The Ground’ demonstrates the incredible musical chemistry between Giulia and Nichols. A quintessential sound of country rock fused with a modern twist of pop, the masterful collection of tracks on the album are laced with superior song craft and compositions.  Lead tracks such as ‘Turn Your Light On’, ‘Radio Junky’,  ‘Another Thing Coming’ and ‘Love, Love, Love’ begin an exciting musical journey, which audiences will want to listen to time and again. Nashville writer, Don Mescall, heard the album, instantly fell in love with Giulia’s sound and immediately offered to add a few finishing touches – musical magic was born.

Giulia is a young Italian beauty with the wisdom of the world firmly woven into the foundation of her upbringing.  Born in Rome, Giulia experienced an eclectic and well-traveled childhood as her family moved from Italy to Argentina, then back to Europe before she decided to focus her musical development in the cultural and creative melting pot of London. The only daughter to Marco Doná dalle Rose, who was a professional polo player, and Flavia Persone – a successful fashion entrepreneur, competitive ambition and exuberant expression were a genetic gift to the young Giulia.  Her early years in Argentina exposed the Giulia to the music that firmly embedded itself in her subconscious and went on to influence her later writing and recording style. Classic, Country, Soul, Blues & Jazz favorites such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald could all be heard coming from Giulia’s bedroom.  Whilst other 12 year olds would favor more bubble gum pop, the entranced Giulia was furnished with a more sophisticated palate for music at its greatest.

Running in parallel to her musical exploits, 2015 also sees Giulia don the fashion mantel as launches her debut fashion collection in partnership with Anna Sammarone.  Bold lines, stunning fabrics and creative twists bring a gorgeous and inspiring fashion collection under the guiding hand of Giulia, who learnt the trade from her mother.

The culmination of a lifetime of wonderful experience and unparalleled talent intertwine to produce what can only be described as music at its very best. With the release of her debut album ‘Raze Me To The Ground’, on April 27 Giulia is ‘the one to watch’ on the international stage for 2015.
